Fifteen (15) years experience in the field of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other significant commercial operations, and/or experience related to the oversight of investments with a focus on corporate governance, contract engineering or contract procurement; diversified practice with a law firm or the law department of a business firm or organization is preferred.

Petrochemical Consultant
BS in Business, Engineering or Marketing in addition to MBA desired. Minimum of 15 years experience in a broad spectrum of chemical industry value chains. Experience should include downstream oil industry, particularly refining, marketing, retailing, and branding. A general knowledge of joint venture development, business acquisition analysis and refined products distribution is preferable. Thorough and complete understanding of due diligence processes with direct experience in techno economic evaluations. Understanding of the key business drivers in the chemicals business through functional experience in the areas of technology/operations, business planning/investment analysis, marketing and/or purchasing.

Technology Manager
We have an immediate requirement for an experienced technology manager.  Of primary interest is experience in olefins, polyolefins, and aromatics.BS in ChE. Marketing Manager/Chemicals/Polymers
We have an immediate requirement for experienced marketing managers to establish Saudi Aramco Polyolefins and Aromatics in global markets.  BS Chemistry or ChE.  An MBA is preferred.  Minimum of 10 years of commercial chemicals marketing experience, plus experience in related chemicals business, manufacturing, or technology roles.   International experience is preferred.

A/B Marketing Manager (two positions)
Major o’seas Oil Corp’s, long known for its leadership in oil exploration, production, and refining, is seeking experienced professionals to join our growing Chemicals Business Team.   We have an immediate requirement for experienced marketing managers to establish Co.’s Polyolefins and Aromatics in global markets.   

Supply Chain Manager
Minimum Requirements: BS or BA degree (prefer a major in Supply Chain Management, Information and Operations Management, Logistics Technology, Industrial Distribution, Marketing, Economics, Chemical Engineering, or Accounting/Finance).  An MBA is preferred.  Minimum of 8 years of supply chain or logistics experience in a leadership or high impact role in the chemicals industry, plus eight years in related chemical industry roles. International experience is preferred.

Technical Service Representative
Consider the opportunity to join our team and help shape the future of the chemicals industry! The technical service representative is responsible for collaborating with sales and marketing personnel to solve customer problems and generate innovate business solutions. • The Health & Safety Manager  will report to the Director of Operational Excellence in Houston and play the leading role in Company HSE matters.
• The company operates thousands of miles of pipeline with large electric-drive pumps, as well as 3 major oil production fields as well as five hundred thousand electric-drive compression horsepower for CO2 injection.
BS Engr or HSE and 5-10 years in oil and gas operations on all aspects of H & S w/ managerial experience or skills.

          OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE MANAGER
                              Houston, TX

Base salary to $125/130K
• The Operational Excellence Manager, IC will report to the director of Operational Excellence and play a leading role in identifying and supporting operational improvement opportunities.
This individual-contributor position will interface with operations and Operational Excellence engineers to identify opportunities that will enhance system capacity and reliability, as well as reduce operating costs.

     Position Requirements

KEY PROJECT MANAGEMENT DEPT. JOBS
WITH MAJOR OIL/CHEMICAL FIRM OVERSEAS

Hello:
Since the N. American job market is in the pits for possibly quite a spell, I wondered if you would consider getting outta Dodge for a while and going with an aggressive Major Oil Company O’seas?  A great client of mine for 35 years, Saudi Aramco last week reopened about 60 senior positions in their Project Management/Corp. Central Engineering Group.  They have an amazing downstream capital budget for the next few years of $95 Billion+ to build 4 or 5 giant refinery/petrochemical JV complexes w/ Major Oil and Chemical Companies to sell refined products and petrochemicals globally, particularly in Asia.  With their low raw materials cost they have the advantages and the money.  They also have ongoing projects in upstream and midstream...pipeline and oil/gas processing facilities, so they are in a serious people bind (a lot of expats are at retirement age).  Currently they are targeting candidates with US or Canadian citizenship who have at least 10 years work before their mandatory age of 60.

While Saudi doesn’t sound like the best place, actually it’s not bad.  Life in the Aramco towns is surprising not that different from the SW USA.  It’s totally safe, (The Co. has never had any dangerous incident in any of their compounds in 70 years), they have their own excellent schools, hospitals, a world class golf course/country club, beaches, 42 day vacation for family w/ airfare anywhere, a great savings plan, the world’s best retirement package, very nice housing and rec. facilities.  They pay very competitive salaries and offer a super tax-protected ex-pat living package.  Since they are Saudized for mgmt. jobs and can’t offer VP-type advancement, but if a guy likes it there and does well, and stays a while, they just fog the cash to them to keep them happy.  If a guy goes over at a good sr. job/salary level and stays for 10+ years before retirement, he can easily come home with several million in cash in his pocket (as a result of their subsidized housing, COL bonus, ex-pat premium, tax protection, etc.)

Their projects are gigantic, they use EPC firms all over the world, their standards are similar or better than the USA, all business is only done in English, thus the experience you get working there is World Class.  Their jobs are fully family status, and are career-direct hire w/ full benefits, medical, etc.  I visit regularly and have a bunch of fairly close friends working there, many who have been there for years.  Great place to raise kids...super private schools, no crime, no drugs.  If desired, and they have a skill, wives can get a job with Aramco; insider Aramco’s towns women can drive, play golf, tennis, ride horses or whatever.  Their schools are taught by the best teachers money can hire, and they have the usual PTA groups, sports, Boy/Girl Scout troops, etc.  Summers are hot, but everything is air-conditioned and winters are delightful.  A big plus is the travel opportunity: paid airfare for family anywhere and the time and money to see the world before you get old...ski in Europe, visit Bangkok, Australia, Istanbul, South Africa, etc. or just come back home for a month.  To take a quick look at the lifestyle in their protected towns please check: http://www.jobsataramco.com/Home/Community.aspx

Initiates detailed work outline and makes decision as basic approaches, processes and / or equipment. Performs work and / or delegates work to other engineers for final development of specialized or technical proposals and proposed projects. Brings all elements of projects together, makes certain that all elements proceed satisfactory on schedule and within the money allowed and initiates corrective action as required. Reviews cost estimates, recommendation from vendors, consultants, and licensors. Discusses, coordinates and resoles problems with personnel throughout Aramco and subsidiaries and with outside of company organizations. Acts as technical consultant when required. Recommends new installations or modifications to improve existing facilities and standardization within broad field of endeavor. Estimates costs, prepares justifications and completes expenditure requests as required. Reviews work of engineers directed. Checks that reports are written according to established methods of good report presentation. Takes recommendations for further study or report change. Approves report for transmittal to supervisor. Develop scope and description of technology items, and leads the implementation and operation of developed solutions in the field.

COMMUNICATION ENGINEERS  [3 positions open]
Position Description: Responsibilities include sizing specifying communication system such as data, telephone, wireless, transmission and facilities. Be involved with CAD MicroStation and Network Engineer (for copper and fiber cable systems) development, installation details, schematics, one-lines, network diagrams, input/output schedules and other drawings. In addition be involved with. Developing communication network strategies, wiring proposal, functional and detailed design specifications. Prepare conceptual design packages and engineering budgetary cost estimates. Responsibilities include providing technical services to Maintenance and Operations Divisions with regard to communication systems, assess plant facilities & process arrangements, and recommending new installations or modifications to improve plant control performance or replacement of defective or communication systems. Serve in technical lead role on communication systems implementations. Review design drawing and engineering specifications to produce review comments and perform quality assurance assessments. Communicate with equipment vendors and technical consultants to resolve complex issues concerning new technology, upgrade of equipment, revision to standards and purchase specifications, test procedure and new projects designs. Provide mentoring and transfer knowledge, skills and experience to entry level engineers and designers.
Selection Criteria: Education: BS Engineering. Experience: Positions requires seven+ & ten+ years min. exp. in: the oil or similar process industry; construction or associated engineering fields. Language Requirements: A Knowledge of the Arabic language desirable but not required. Other: A well rounded knowledge of project management, cost control and cost estimating. Must be completely familiar with US building, Utility and piping codes. Must be familiar with Budgeting and Accounting procedures. Should be well informed on Standard Safety practices.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Generally as a member of a team, the incumbent is expected to perform one or more of the following activities, the number and combination depending on the assignment. Acts as a technical advisor, providing expert counsel and direction to other geoscientists, applying the techniques of his specialized field in the various studies and research projects in progress. Offers advice on geological matters requiring a very high degree of technical expertise. Undertakes or directs specialized studies on applied research or specific problems leading to new Exploration, Technology or Reservoir Characterization concepts. Represents the Company at outside meetings that discuss complex problems, when decisions are being arrived at concerning future approaches and directions of investigation. Prepares and makes presentations to management, for the company and government agencies, if warranted, illustrating different geologic problems, results and conclusions. Prepares summary reports on geological activities, where a very sophisticated type of analysis and mature judgment is required for an adequate evaluation. Keeps up to date in his specialized discipline by constantly attending technical society sessions to ensure all recent developments are used in Co's Exploration Organization. Performs the administrative functions required to implement the studies and research assigned to his discipline. Assists in training less experienced geologists through discussions and work sessions, and participates in specialist development program. Performs any or all the duties listed in the Geological Specialist job description. SELECTION CRITERIA: BS in Geology or a related science. Graduate study in a specialized discipline of Geology, a related science or other extended special training is desirable. Twelve to fifteen (12-15) years of experience, including at least 7 years as a specialist in discipline.
