- COMPANY'S, Technology and Innovation (T&I) GROUP has an opening position for lab process excellence leader. He should have a strong experience in leading a team to fulfill the job requirements of lab quality system including ISO standards.
- The successful candidate will join the analytical department in technology and innovation environments. The position is located at COMPANY'S Technology Center - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

- The successful candidate will:
- • Provides support to other analytical teams in term of safety, quality and ISO 17025 advisory
- • Implement and monitor the quality management system and ensure that the requirements of ISO standards accreditation are met.
- • Liaison with COMPANY R&T Section Manager for Quality Systems.
- • Coordinate and conduct of audits and reviews of the quality system.
- • Ensure the conduction of staff assessment.
- • Review findings of audits and approve corrective actions as adequate and complete
- • Ensure corrective actions are monitored to confirm their effectiveness.
- • Ensure that agreed preventive actions are implemented.
- • Approve sub-contractors and suppliers in consultation with the expert.
- • Approve of documents for compliance with quality policy.
- • Ensure appropriate response to quality anomalies and complaints and review corrective actions where appropriate.
- • Coordinate all proficiency testing, round robin programs and blind samples activities and issue a monthly report to the Manager Manage and coordinate all lab equipment maintenance and ensure
- • Advise the section manager for analytical laboratory and experts on quality issues and the quality implications of any changes or proposed changes to procedures with respect to the Laboratories' activities.
- • Implement and monitor the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) system and ensure that the requirements of EHS manual are met
- • liaison with the EHS department to gain the technical assistance needed to identify and control the hazards associated with the work processes and fulfill environmental protection, safety, and health responsibilities within our department
- • Conduct a monthly safety meeting among the department and report all near miss and learned incidents.
- • Coordinate all maintenance issues for all equipments
- • Coordinate all preventive maintenance contracts
- • Coordinate all procurement issues and flow up with the buyer to make sure all goods are delivered on time
- • Give technical support to all LIMS users including, lab people, customers and end users
- • Prepare and issue a monthly activity and work load report
- • Monitor all samples and tests status in the LIMS and notify the lab for backlog and delays
- Education and Experience
- Master degree in analytical chemistry with at least 5 years of industrial experience is preferred. In lieu, a BsC Degree with considerable work experience and diversified exposure may be considered. Applicant must have extensive knowledge of ISO standards and 17025 accreditations, excellent leadership and management and communication skills. He must have some knowledge of laboratory practices, techniques, health and safety, quality assurance processes, equipment and instruments, and related scientific theories. having English proficiency in verbal and written form is a must. Familiar with common analytical research and technology processes and must be adept in computer literacy, able to use Microsoft Office, internet and email
- SALARIES: TAX FREE GLOBALLY ATTRACTIVE + package includes the followings:
- • Housing allowance, 25% of the basic salary
- • Transportation allowance ~ 10% of the basic salary(max SAR.1000/month for below grade 13, or max 2000 for grade 14 or above)

- • Operate under accredited laboratory standards, conduct, plan, coordinate, and implement research and development of analytical methods
- • Carry out the enhancement of laboratory analytical systems as well as establish, provide, and maintain quality service and scientific support

- Education and Experience
- Ph.D Degree in Analytical Chemistry with at least 3 years of industrial experience is preferred. In lieu, a Master's Degree with considerable work experience and diversified exposure may be considered. Applicant must have some practical experience in ICP and ICP-MS Spectrometry. Strong drive to rapidly absorb and develop further technical skills centered around ICP and ICP-MS, including high-level advanced techniques and able to implement knowledge quickly, especially in demanding situations. Hands-on experience with ICP in the petrochemical application is an added value. Knowledge of laboratory accreditation standards, such as ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 17025:2005, to ensure testing results adhere to standards. Knowledge of laboratory practices, techniques, health and safety, quality assurance processes, equipment and instruments, and related scientific theories. POLYPROPYLENE & POLYETHYLENE PROCESS SCIENTISTS THE COMPANY , one of the world's largest diversified petrochemical companies, is seeking experienced and innovative Scientists, Materials Development & Processing Engineers for a number of positions at their Technical Center, Riyadh**, Saudi Arabia. POLYETHYLENE PROCESS SCIENTIST Role • Initiate and conduct research programs directed towards the development of catalyst, process and product improvements for gas or slurry phase polyethylene processes. • Provide Technology Support to commercial Gas or Slurry Phase Polyethylene Plants. • Provide trouble-shooting support and drive problem resolution for polyethylene manufacturing plants. • Collect and interpret plant process data and make recommendations for improvements. • Design and lead process and product pilot plant development campaigns for the assigned task including preliminary reviews, data interpretation, and final reporting • Participate in new product and process technology implementations in polyethylene manufacturing plants. • Formally document and communicate research findings and improvements. (Reports and presentations) • Execute research programs involving both individual and team contributions towards creating value to the business. Experience required • Minimum 5 years of experience in Polyethylene Process technology Research & Operation. • Require experience / fundamental knowledge in Ziegler-Natta or Chromium and/or single site catalyst kinetics and operation for polyethylene. • Hands on experience in polyethylene gas or slurry phase commercial process operation & development. • Preference to have experience/knowledge in fluidization and polymerization process modeling & simulation. Qualifications • PhD / M. Sc / B.
