Description
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing all catalyst sales opportunities within the petroleum refining and petrochemicals industries through direct customer contacts in a designated geographic region.  The Regional Sales Manager is required to master the technical and commercial characteristics of the catalyst product line, and to maintain a good working knowledge of the key refining and petrochemical processes.  The Regional Sales Manager must identify prospective sales opportunities, analyze customer needs, buying influences and decision makers, develop and implement sales strategies, develop relationships at all levels of the customer organization, maintain a regional data base of short term and long term opportunities, schedule sales calls, submit reports of sales activities, and compile information on competitive catalysts.  The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Business Director, Catalysts.
Position Requirements
1.     Bachelor of Science in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering.
2.     5-8 years sales experience with a proven track record of success.
3.     An understanding of industrial processes in the petroleum refining and petrochemical industries.

POSITION OVERVIEW: This position serves as the Originator and Negotiator in the acquisition or sales of LNG. This position incumbent identifies large, complex and long-term transactions and is expected to simultaneously lead various such transactions. This position is responsible for supporting the acquiring or marketing of supply to monetize existing, and developing asset positions worldwide, and extracting additional value from transactions through optionality. This position focuses on expanding the company’s domestic and/or international presence by creating and developing LNG opportunities. The Director initiates and successfully closes new business ventures in LNG that may require appropriate interaction with host governments, local political leaders, partners, suppliers and customers to achieve project commercialization. KNOWLEDGE:
Individual will have an understanding of the general facets of the energy markets and specifically of LNG markets. The Manager performs feasibility and risk analyses (creating and running models as needed) in support of the senior deal makers (VP and SrVPs). Individual must have working knowledge of the LNG business including re-gasification terminalling, liquefaction terminalling, natural gas lifting, processing, option valuation, capital structures, project economics, shipping, economic and energy commodity pricing dynamics internationally, supplier alternatives, Geo-political issues, infrastructure development, and project management. This individual should have a good understanding of market fundamentals and correlations of other energy commodities. This individual should also have knowledge of other potential gas conversion and commercialization uses. In-depth working knowledge of option valuation, capital structures, project economics, shipping, economic and energy commodity pricing dynamics internationally, supplier alternatives, geo-political issues, infrastructure development, project management, government relations and joint venture negotiations; functions as the formal lead on major projects. POSITION:
Designs, controls, directs and coordinates manpower and budget planning activities during strategic manpower structuring phase.
